If you aren’t a mega millionaire just yet and you’re trying to build your business and do some MLM recruiting on a gnat sized bank account like a lot of us, then there are some rays of hope I want to share as well as let you in on building on a budget.

Not all of us, actually very few people, were born with a silver spoon in their mouth. There are actually many famous people with lots of money who started out below the middle of the pile. Here are some examples of just what I mean that will show us all that anything is possible if you use the right tools and almost everyone starts with a budget.

  • Famous actress, Sandra Bullock, used to be a bartender.
  • Famous singer Kenny Chesney used to valet, telemarket and sort mail.
  • Famous singer Chubby Checker used to pluck chickens.
  • The late, great Kurt Cobain used to be a janitor.
  • Famous actor seen in many movies, Dan Akroyd, used to sort mail.
  • Famous actress from movies and TV, Jennifer Aniston, used to wait tables.
  • Famous actress, Halle Berry, used to work in a department store.
  • Famous singer PDiddy used to be an intern at a record company.
  • Famous actor, Bill Cosby, used to shine shoes and sell green groceries.
  • From American Idol, Simon Cowell, used to be a mail room worker.
  • Famous actor, Michael Douglas, used to be a gas station attendant.
  • Famous actor, Tom Hanks, used to be a bellman at a hotel.
  • MLM star Mike Dillard used to be a waiter.

If we are not careful we can forget that even people with more started at the bottom. All of us have to budget in our everyday lives, even the mega money makers.

So just how does this have any connection with MLM and building on a budget?

We have to realize that we are not at a disadvantage if we have to build on a budget and the only time it is a disadvantage is when we try to run our business as if we don’t need to use a budget. And, tisk, tisk…. A lot of people in the business do just that.

If we give every penny we have to finding leads in the form of advertising dollars when we’re not making much money, we’re gonna get in a lot of trouble and it’s a big mistake.
Spending lots of money on advertising may bring a few prospects our way, but if they are mostly dead ends, we get to start over trying to get more leads. This starts an endless cycle.

So what do we do?

What we do is get knowledge. We learn how to generate leads on autopilot within our budget or even for free.

It’s crucial to know about programs like ‘Building On A Budget’. Programs that already have proven results and step-by-step instructions. As until we all get to mega wealthy status, we can’t afford to waste time or money. Actually, even when mega wealthy status is achieved I don’t know that I would waste anything, as I have worked hard for it all. It’s also important to remember when we are looking at our small advertising budgets that everyone starts at the bottom…..but with the right tools we can get to the top.
