The health industry is big news and has been for quite some time. There are several companies in pre-launch and they seem to get some internet attention before there is any real concrete information. One may be tempted to jump into this end of network marketing to supposedly make recruiting a little easier, begin a new MLM business and try to get in on a ground floor opportunity at the same time. However, is this a smart move?

Some of these companies do have some recognizable names that were prominent people formerly involved with big pharmaceutical companies. Finding information on these pre-launch companies, thier structure, payment plan and how they intend to handle recruiting is almost non existent, but some of these companies already have people marketing the opportunity. It’s my experience that ground floor opportunities can be really good or really bad. One can find a scattered few reviews about new companies that some of the companies are pricey to join without any real plans for anything else. As well one can find stories of  potential high earnings, which frankly is a little confusing as ‘pre-launch’ businesses haven’t even been launched yet.

The health MLM companies are directed at mainly providing nutritional supplements and information on most of the companies state that the products are patent protected. As well there seems to be a lot of ‘buzz’ about getting in on the ground floor and lots of pre-launch MLM recruiting going on for new health copmanies and most business are saying that there is NO competition. Again this statement is a little confusing as just about everyone has heard of a little company called ‘Herbalife”.

Herbalife has an interactive sampling mobile in the works that will have a refrigerated unit and will allow Herbalife independent distributors to sample Formula 1 protein shakes, along with other products. The unit will also feature a BMI measurement and fitness type video games for people to enjoy. Sounds like big completion.

Some of the new ‘pre-launch’ health companies offer different activation levels ranging from $150, $300, $600, and up and depending on where people buy in, they will be eligible to receive certain portions of the  compensation plan, However, it’s hard to find any information on the compensation plans for some of these new companies.

Some of the pre-launch companies are making statements like “they are backed by scientific validation”. This is a bold statement that may be just a little scary as well when realizing the recent news about Michael Ellis, founder of the diet pill company Metabolife. He has just completed a six-month term in federal prison because he pleaded guilty to lying to the Food and Drug Administration.

Bottom line, in my opinion, when we are looking for new opportunities for business and ways to ramp up MLM recruiting for existing MLM’s it just seems smarter and more efficient to get into something that has a proven track record like Magnetic Sponsoring or Black Belt Recruiting. As well, jumping ship and bouncing from MLM to MLM doesn’t result in any real success, learning ways for smart recruiting does. Some of these new health MLM’s may turn out to be a great opportunities somewhere down the road, but it may not be the best way to find easy prospects just because it’s a ‘ground floor’ opportunity.
