MLM Recruiting-Out With The Bad Habits And In With The Good
Those who are successful have developed habits of success. When we have the opportunity to learn from them, get a hold of things they have written or training materials they provide, it’s seriously in our best interest to do so. The trouble is most of us have developed bad habits and are frankly a little lazy.
Those who are successful realize that life is a learning experience till the day we leave this earth. You see, we will only get back what we put in and in order to be successful we have to ask what am I really doing to create my success? As well, we must realize that our habits, attitudes, beliefs and expectations have a bearing on everything we do. So how do we change our habits for the better for the better?
The Steps:
- First we must identify the habit we want to change.
- Figure out why this habit is bad.
- Consider if there is a way to make it productive enough to reach goals.
- Consider the long term results.
Let’s take ignoring education to help us in our business for example. You want to succeed, but something is holding you back. What has caused this? Are you just ignoring vital steps to reach success? If so, why? Is it an issue of not knowing what needs to be done? Is it an issue of just being lazy?
This is where you can look at your behavior. What is the current habit? Ignoring education. What is your attitude about your business? I just don’t understand why I can’t get anywhere. What are your beliefs about it? I believe that if I keep going this way I will fail and/or quit. What are your expectations of your MLM or network marketing? Are you going to be successful without all the tools?
These are all questions we need to ask ourselves. So then what? Ask yourself what it would look like if I change my bad habit? We have to envision ourselves being successful in our MLM or network marketing. Could I quit the 9 to 5 rat race? What would the revenue be? How many prospects are there? We have to see ourselves with the revenue and the prospects. See other people clamoring to get the products and info. See it clearly and imagine it 3 or 4 times a day.
Next we must have a plan of action and set goals (find education pertaining to my business, sign up and actually study and learn the information). The plan should include milestone rewards and an end reward. Say you want to increase your business by 10 prospects. Maybe for every 10 prospects you gain you will reward yourself with a special something that makes you feel good. At the end, when you reach your goal, the reward will be a great business and a way to have all the things you wanted when you got started. Of course the side benefit is the revenue you’re building as well as a stable business.
So, basically, that’s it. We all have the power to change any bad habit that we don’t like. Will it be effortless? In all likelihood no but it might not be as difficult as we think either. Remember that bad habits may have been a part of us for a long time so don’t expect miracles. However, remember that you can overcome and change any habit that you want to change.
