Network marketing or MLM recruiting on the net is an outstanding way for people to begin a home based business and potentially earn a really good income. Many very successful people started with network marketing. However some need to quit adding to the bad rep of MLM’s by making ridiculous claims.

It’s a fact that there is often a negative perception of MLM in the eyes of some people because of all the hype that goes along with it. Those of us involved with network marketing and MLM recruiting know that some of these claims of over-the-top income are true but they are the exception and come from the people who have invested in educating themselves on how our business works. Just like with any business, there are businesses that make Billions of dollars per year, and those that don’t. The majority of us can make enough to live very, very comfortably without punching a clock (those of us with knowledge and experience) but not enough to buy an island.

The truth is it’s possible to build a successful business and make a good living through MLM but you won’t get rich quickly. MLM recruiting as a business isn’t very hard, but it’s unquestionably not easy either. Learning how to market on the internet, figuring out a system for bringing in sales and prospects, helping your team duplicate your success, and lots more on a recurring basis is essential.

Network marketing and MLM recruiting is all about perpetually getting your opportunity in front of a targeted group, presenting yourself as an expert and building relationships with prospects and customers. You must also know how to find the right prospects to join your business so you will reap the benefits and decrease your work load. However, just jumping into a program with outrageous claims and having no training or direction will do nothing but waste your time, money and energy.

There are lots of reputable business opportunities out there… but with out the training you need you could turn into one of those desperate marketers making outrageous claims because they are desperately grasping at something that will bring in some prospects. The only thing that will do is seal your failure. We don’t have to make ridiculous claims and really can have great success if we have the correct training, knowledge and tools for success.
